I'm the founder/ literally only person who works here.
I started Minimalist Studio because the existing greeting card buying experience sucks.
Buying cards in a store...
Sucks. The cards aisle is super overwhelming, and most of the cards are just not good. For truly no reason, it's a near-impossible task to find a card you actually like.
And then you finally find a decent card and somehow there are no envelopes left for it? And you're like how can that be?
Typically, buying cards online...
Sucks too.
On the plus side, ytou see lots of cards quickly, and it's from the comfort of home. Yay! So you take the leap and make a purchase. Progress.
But then you get the card and it's somehow half the size you even thought was acceptable. Or it's so flimsy that a sneeze sends it into another room.
And as an added bonus
In either scenario, you can bet you'll receive zero information about the sustainability of the product. Cool. Cool cool cool.
And thus, Cards That Don't Suck™ were born.
The goal with Minimalist Studio is simple: to create products that I'd actually buy.
Relatable products, made with quality materials, working to make Earth a better place — all on a website showcasing every last thoughtful detail.
What started with just greeting cards soon evolved into a product line including art prints, IOUs, even temporary tattoos. And we're just getting started.
